On 13 February 2026, EmpowerHer Estate Rwanda (EHER) hosted a virtual workshop on Career Readiness & Leadership Pathways: Preparing Women and Youth for the Future of Work in Real Estate. The session featured Eng. Angella Kirabo Mutebi, Chairperson of Global Women in Real Estate (GWIRE) and AfRES Women, who delivered an inspiring presentation on developing expertise and leadership in the real estate sector.
Eng. Angella emphasized that leadership begins with strategic growth and deliberate practice. She outlined thirteen key areas for professional development, including goal setting, networking, mentorship, adaptability, values, feedback, and innovation. She encouraged participants to embrace opportunities, celebrate achievements, and proactively shape their careers.

She also urged participants to take advantage of free online conferences organized by AFRES and GWIRE and to actively engage in the AFRES Women Chapter monthly webinars as platforms for networking and continuous learning.
The workshop reinforced EHER’s mission to empower women and youth in real estate by providing knowledge, mentorship, and leadership pathways.
