From Self-Doubt to Second Place: Clemence’s Journey to the FM Vlog Finals
Being part of EHER has truly transformed my journey. When I first heard about the Facilities Management Vlog Competition, I doubted myself and wasn’t sure I was capable. But through the encouragement, mentorship, and continuous support from EHER, especially from the founder, I gained the confidence to participate and push beyond my limits.
My vlog, “How AI Can Shape Facilities Management for a Better Campus and Workplace Experience,” opened doors I never imagined. Being selected among the top three finalists across Africa and ultimately becoming the second winner was a defining moment. It strengthened my confidence, taught me the power of courage, preparation, asking for feedback, and keeping faith at the center.
EHER has proven to be more than an organization; it is a family that lifts you, guides you, and walks with you until your goals become reality.
Message to other young women:
“Don’t underestimate your abilities. Show up, try, learn, and keep going. Your courage can open doors you never expected. Above all, pray.”
“I doubted myself at first, but EHER believed in me until I believed in myself.”
